Can you please let me know what the conclusion of the ride described in this thread was? Was the trip undertaken at all. I am interested in planning and riding this trail by DS motorcycle- and I would like to know the trails curent status.

Craig, As far as I know that ride was not taken in 2008, however I see a lot of request for information by others interested in a simular ride. It will require a lot of planning and now is the time to do that. I'm getting this forum in a format that will address that issue because it is the number one request. How to prepare for a trip on The Great Western Trail. And believe me you best be prepared on that trail!
